The Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen will appear at the BBC Proms this week. The concert, taking place on 27 July, sold out on only its first day of ticket sales, and features two of their highly acclaimed Beethoven interpretations - Symphonies No. 1 & 5 - as well as the Violin Concerto with Hilary Hahn as soloist. Following on from their Proms performance, the orchestra and Järvi will then appear at the Lanaudière Festival and the Mostly Mozart Festival in New York. Järvi has also recently been awarded a prestigious “Conductor of the Year” from ECHO Klassik for his recordings of Beethoven's Symphonies Nos. 2 & 6 with The Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen.
