The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra’s music director Paavo Järvi, Herb Brown, retired senior vice-president of Western and Southern Financial Group and Ellen van der Horst, president of Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, will be recognized as Outstanding Cincinnatians at the Emanuel Community Center Triumph Awards on Feb. 2 at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza, Hall of Mirrors.
The award honors individuals in Cincinnati who have worked hard for success and shared that success with our community. Journalist and TV anchorman Nick Clooney will be the evening’s keynote speaker, with Courtis Fuller of WLW-TV serving as the Master of Ceremonies.
In addition to the awards program, the 6 p.m. event will include dinner and a silent auction. Proceeds benefit the Emanuel Center’s Over-the-Rhine Community Connect programs.
Tickets are $60 per person. Table sponsors and other sponsorship opportunities are still available. Contact Gail Moe at (513) 241-2563, ext. 32 or visit www.emanuelcenter.org
Emanuel Community Center was founded in 1871 to serve the expanding and diverse population of people in the Over-the-Rhine area of Cincinnati. The center focuses on children, youth athletics, arts and cultural programming.
