Daniel Barenboim, CSO music director since 1991, leaves his post in June, and the search for a successor is continuing slowly. The CSO released some information about its 2006-07 season, including a long list of guest conductors, such as Paavo Jarvi, Bernard Haitink, Christoph von Dohnanyi, Myung-Whun Chung, Semyon Bychkov, Charles Dutoit, Riccardo Muti, Kent Nagano, David Robertson, Esa-Pekka Salonen and Mitsuko Uchida.
World premieres of CSO commissions by Christian Lindberg, Jeffrey Mumford, James Primosch and Mark-Anthony Turnage are also on the schedule.
